Tata Tanishq gets into another controversy for it’s recently released advertisement.

It has not even been a month and Tata group’s jewellery brand Tashniq has landed into yet another controversy. On Monday Tata Tanishq has to take down one more advertisement for allegedly hurting religious sentiments.

Tanishq’s brand new Diwali advertisement features talented actors like Neena Gupta, Sayani Gupta, Nimrat Kaur and Alaya F.

Sayani in the ad says, ” I’m hoping to meet my mom after really long, definitely not firecrackers. I don’t think anybody should light any firecrackers, but lot of diyas. ” The advertisement was released on Thursday across all the social media platforms.

As usual netizens got divided into two groups, some supported Tanishq while others thought it was an offensive advice.

In a tweet C. T Ravi, the National General Secretary of BJP said, “Why should anyone advise Hindus how to celebrate our festivals? Companies must focus on selling their products, not lecture us to refrain from bursting Crackers.”

The 50 second long Tanishq Diwali special has been taken down from all social media platforms except for Tanishq’s Instagram page.

Earlier, a month ago Tanishq suffered backlash on social media for featuring an inter cast family in the advertisement, which was later asked to withdraw as it allegedly hurt religious sentiments.
