Colors TV issued an apology as Jaan Kumar insulted Marathi Language which irked Political parties
The biggest controversial show bigg Boss is back with another controversy. In yesterday’s episode Jaan Kumar Sahu was spotted insulting marathi language which irked the political parties Shiv Sena and MNS. The political parties even demanded for an apology within 24 hours from the channel as well as the contestant. The parties even threatened to shut down the show if this apology is not issued within the given time period. Jaan Kumar was into a situation where he asked the contestant to not talk in marathi they wishes to continue the conversation. He continued saying that he find this language annoying and if the contestants have the courage then they should continue to talk in Hindi. They political parties as well as the marathi audience were quite offended by this statement. Representing the party Aadesh Bandekar, the secretary of Shiv Sena and the head of the party’s Chitrapat Sena tweeted, “बिग बॉस च्या व्यवस्थापनाने व ह्या व्यक्ती ने महाराष्ट्राची व मराठी जनतेची त्वरित माफी मागावी ज्यानी हेकृत्य केले त्याची तातडीने हकालपट्टी करावी… अशी बदनामी करणाऱ्यांची चित्रीकरण परवानगी महाराष्ट्र शासनाने रद्द करावी… शिवसेना चित्रपट सेना”.
After this, the Colors channel issues apology and wrote, “We at COLORS apologise for the remarks in relation to Marathi language made on Bigg Boss episode aired on Tuesday, 27th October. We had no intentions of hurting the sentiments of the people of Maharashtra.”
