Yogi Adityanath ordered CBI enquiry for Hathras rape and murder case
On Saturday evening Yogi Adityanath ordered a CBI investigation for the rape and murder of 20 year old women of Hathras, Haryana.
This case was handed over to CBI after congress MP Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi along with 40 other congress leaders visited the family of victim to express their grief over the mishap. They travelled 200 Kms that is from Delhi to Hathras and were successful to meet the family after a huge scene been created by the Uttar Pradesh police.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister’s office tweeted,”Chief Minister @myogiadityanath Ji has ordered the CBI to conduct a probe into the entire Hathras case.”
The nation was horrified by this incident and enraged mob protest was been staged against the government and Uttar Pradesh police. The one protest to stand out, was held at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on Friday, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal made his appearance and demanded for the execution of the four accused.
The ruling party BJP ignored the protests by calling it an opposition stunt. BJP is now facing pressure over its in capability to prevent crimes against women as more than two assaults have been confirmed after the Hathras rape and murder case.
The Uttar Pradesh police was criticised the most for there ill treatment towards the family of the victim. They locked the victims family in their home and cremated their daughter at night 2:10 am.
Apart from Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, top officials from the UP government and police visited the family of victim on Saturday in Hathras DGP HC Awasthy and Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Awanish Awasthi.
